Conversation Lace
A sock and scarf pattern

Order

This is a pattern written for socks, adult medium or large, and a scarf. The instructions include your choice of fingering or sport weight yarn.
While I often enjoy knitting intricate lace patterns,I have found that I don't have many opportunities to knit them with the full concentration that they require.
So my intent with this design, was to create a lace that one could knit anytime-while on the go,while watching TV,or while holding a
conversation (thus the name).
This lace pattern is for many skill level-from beginners or those with a "fear" of lace, to the seasoned lace knitter.
The fingering weight version. Yarns used were Heritage Hand Painted Silk/Rayon, color "Sagebrush" (cuffs and scarf) and Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock, color "Douglas Fir" (main sock).
Sport weight sock and scarf.Yarns used were Heritage Hand Painted Cotton/Metallic, color "Holly Jolly Christmas" (cuffs and scarf) and Heirloom Easy Care 8, color #793 (main sock).
